Whoa. Random thought for the day. If coffee was made into pills, and the farmers sold coffee-pills to the millions of people addicted to it who cannot function without a warm cup in the morning, think about how much more they’d make! It’d cut out the whole middle man! But alas, pills cannot grow on trees, and this idea would only lead to the already-rich pharmacists making out with larger salaries, leaving coffee cultivators without work. Not to mention it’s a completely absurd idea.
There haven’t been any recent articles about the coffee trade, which is really frustrating because I want to know what has happened recently! It’s all fine and dandy that when Fair Trade was introduced to the US tons of organizations and companies were on board, but it’s a continuous effort. That seems to happen with a lot of issues though; we get riled up about something that needs attention and support, but the more time that passes from hearing about it the less it matters. Constant bombardment of depressing images? Not necessary. But a gentle prevalent reminder would keep it fresh in our memories.

Great idea about the coffee pills! They would be a hit on college campuses especially! It’s too bad it’s not possible.. for now! Oh, wishful thinking..

You know there is such a thing as caffeine pills, but I don’t know how healthy they are. But I completely understand not having many recent articles. I personally was kind of waiting for news—although it’s not really a good thing to wait for news about terrorism. I hope recent articles pick up for you, but I would say this is a very neat idea for a blog, and I’m excited to see your conclusion.
